Child Safety

In line with the Uniting Church of Australia Victoria and Tasmania’s Safe Church commitment, CAN Community Support is a child-safe organisation with zero tolerance for child abuse. Every child has the right to feel safe, happy, and respected. All staff and volunteers are expected to follow this policy and the CCS Child Safe Code of Conduct, complete training, and hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) as required by Working with Children Act 2005 and the Working with Children Regulations 2016.
